Letts get to work!

The best part about being an authorized Citizen Forester is the right to wear the official bright yellow-green, two sizes too small Casey Trees construction vests during plantings. The second best part is getting to meet a variety of interesting people who share an appreciation for the environment but not necessarily for the official bright yellow-green vests. The third best part is the chance to inexplicably hold a pick axe, the most important tool of all time, in photographs taken after the plantings. Best parts #4-36 are not related to trees, bright green-yellow vests, or pickaxes, per se, but they do frequently mention the fame and glory associated with being a Citizen Forester. The 37th best part about being an authorized Citizen Forester is the opportunity to plant trees, which provide shade, paper, and if the bark isn’t too crackly, a place for people to lean.
