In honor of this journal’s title, I thought we could briefly revisit our youths by posting the first verse in the theme song to the popular videogame turned television program “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”. Please sing along if you’d like. I realize that the vocal range of the band “Rockapella” may be too diverse for some of you, but I’d at least appreciate a little effort. Was that as painful for everyone else as it was for me?
The point of my creative, if not brilliant, subject was to bring to light the experiences of my sister, Lindsay, as she spends a year finishing her undergraduate degrees in Bordeaux, France. Initially, it was understood that Lindsay would be taking “classes” at a “university”, but it appears she’s also squeezed in a bit of travel.
